Tardor (meaning ‘Autumn’ in Catalan) is a pencil, charcoal & chalk animation created during a residency at Mas Els Igols, Catalonia. The peice is about the daily commute on foot from the secluded residence to the village. Under the hot sun, recurring thoughts and memories were triggered by the daily repetition of surroundings, and a peculiar phobia of stray dogs was overtaking me. The audio is an impromptu piece performed by a stranger in Galway, who took the violin I had become overly familiar with the sound of, and re-tuned it to play something unimaginable.

Tardor (1:55) was exhibited at Estudio Nomada for LOOP Festival, Barcelona, 2018.
